SINGAPORE - The Coffee Festival 2017 had a good start with experts giving the event an excellent rating at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
The event was moved to a bigger location which is better compared to last year’s event that took place at the F1 Pit Building that only has 7,000 sqm of space.
The new venue for the festival also has a breezy outdoor space called the Sunset Wharf which will have live music performances and an outdoor barbecue according to the Straits Times.
Casey Thomas Blanche, the master roaster of Oriole Coffee + Bar said that the previous coffee festival was not that great because of the confined space of the F1 Pit Building.
The Singapore Coffee Festival is organized by DBS bank and the Straits Times. It opens today and ends on Sunday (Aug. 6).
The festival will feature workshops, live music, and talks with industry experts. Around 90 exhibitors from café owners, equipment suppliers, and coffee sellers will join the event.
