TOKYO - Customers who want to visit the amazing 150 islands of Okinawa can take their adorable pet dogs to fly with them in the main cabin. The four-day tour bundle is being offered by Aeon Pet Co and Japan Airlines Co which would start in March 2018.
The move is in response to people’s complaints that they would like to travel, but couldn't leave their dogs at home.
Japan Airlines will now try to satisfy the demand for a much more pet-friendly service by allowing passengers to bring their dogs aboard the aircraft. The airline will also help customers to find hotels that can accommodate pets upon arrival.
The Okuma Private Beach & Resort is one of the hotels in Okinawa that would provide accommodations to travelers and their dogs. The resort would also offer plenty of exciting marine activities to first-timers on the island.
Aeon Pet, the biggest pet company in Japan, would also provide assistance to travelers as they embark on the four-day tour around Okinawa. Pet owners can relax since a veterinarian would be on standby as they go around the islands.
