TAIPEI - Due to the clamoring of over 300,000 Celine Dion fans for concert tickets, the Kham online ticketing system recently crashed.

The tickets went on sale at noon with prices ranging from NT$800 to NT$13,800 and fans are desperately trying to get a slot for the 20,000 seats available. Celine Dion is expected to hold two shows in Taiwan on July.

According to Keoni Everington from Taiwan News, it’s the first time the international diva would visit Taiwan and she’s planning to stay for a week to do some traveling and explore Taiwan’s culture. Back in 2014, Dion was scheduled to do a concert in Taipei, but the show was canceled due to her husband’s health condition.

The promoters of the concert stated that they will try to add additional shows in Taiwan due to the high demand of fans. Dion’s Asian tour would also include concerts to be held in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Macau.
